Moulded parts

Moulded parts are our core business! Using our vast experience in Rubber Technology, we are able to produce nearly each rubber part this is required for your application. Based on your design, tooling and parts are manufactured in accordance with the quality level desired and packed and supplied in suitable quantities.

In many occasions, thus, SealTec Products also supports the engineering, development and design of the required parts. In close cooperation with your engineers, a business case is drawn up. Suitable materials are determined based on the application circumstances and with the provided STEP-files of your application, our engineers sketch up suitable sealing solutions. By using 3D-printed models and compression moulded sample parts, the new sealing parts are tested. After approval a serial tool is produced and our warehouse is ramped up.

Within the group of moulded parts several product lines are distinguished e.g.

• custom parts
• rubber/metal and rubber/plastic parts

Above, the iterative process of product development is demonstrated.

Starting from 2 components which, in the end, will be assembled to 1 appliance, a sealing element is designed that will be seated between these 2 components to offer a medium tight seal. Based on the chosen and required polymer, the tolerances of all 3 components and the assembly of all 3 components, a new sealing element is constructed.

By using 3D printing or making samples, the real life functioning of the seal can be tested. In certain cases, a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) can be done to simulate dynamic load and movement of a sealing element.
