Extrusions

Profiles of sponge materials, elastomers and polymers are mostly produced by an extrusion process. For some applications, a combination of materials is extruded (co-extrusion) to give the profile additional properties and features.

Many different dimensions and shapes exist and often are found on-stock. Extrusions are often used to seal gap with an extensive length. The profiles are supplied on a coil or spool or are cut-to-length.
